The Position

 

  • Pre-sales solution architecture including design, documentation and presentation with clients.  Engaging with your client’s technical counterparts and partnering with key vendors on projects.
  • Be the technical leader on multiple projects (around 7) with values ranging up to $1M
  • Provide recommendations on future technology directions and strategy
  • Analyse and investigate the customer’s current network to ensure design is up to date and optimised to meet their business needs.
  • Be pro-active in relation to technology trends and market offerings.

 

Ideally the role will appeal to people with the following profile:

 

  • Technical qualifications in Network or Telecommunications engineering (degree preferred) or equivalent industry qualifications from CISCO, Checkpoint, Riverbed, Blue Coat, Silver Peak, F5 or similar.
  • Experience and skills across multiple server platforms such as Sun/Oracle, Microsoft Wintel
  • Demonstrated Systems design and architecture experience
  • Experience in the build and administration of Network infrastructure and Security platforms
  • As this is a client facing role, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to drive technical solutions whilst working to tight deadlines. 
  • Strong analysis skills and the ability to logically resolve problems and challenges.
  • Professional, outgoing and positive attitude towards clients, partners and colleagues.
